Stacy – Journal Entry July 25, 2019 ¨Anexión del Partido de Nicoya¨

The 25th of July is an important date for Costa Rica's culture. That's why I decided to help my community on this date. By selling the famous pasteles and juices to help Huacas School. 3 outcomes we can pick out can be knowing these kids after all were going to be happy, generating money to benefit the entire school and accomplishing my CAS assignments. It felt pretty good helping these humble people to meet their goal. The money raised was going to benefit my brother ́s 1st grade class of 2019. I got to speak english with some american customers we had. As the day passed by, everyone that was helping developed a deep commitment. Communicators, the IB learner profile I gained throughout this experience. Learning how to have patients with customers while others are trying to grab what they want is a very important skill. Not everyone can achieve this. Likewise, participating in this activity made my personal growth much better. Because I improved my skill of having patients.
