Visionary: People’s Graphic Design Archive

Location: Global (Portland/New York)

Focus: Design & Cultural Preservation

Help collect our shared histories.

The People’s Graphic Design Archive (PGDA) is a digital-first, crowd-sourced archive of inclusive history. We are a growing platform where community and shared ownership of history can exist.

While centered around graphic design, PGDA invites everything from finished projects to process, photos, correspondence, oral histories, anecdotes, articles, essays, and other supporting material around visual communication.

We’re actively in the process of making this space a beautiful, functional space to preserve and honor the history of graphic design while gathering an active learning network to create the future of design together.

There are lots of ways you can get involved in this as it unfolds and help make it possible. Explore a few of our current options below.
