In the heart of Bolivia, a collective of women is transforming the streets and reclaiming public space on their skateboards. Clad in their traditional polleras, the members of ImillaSkate defy stereotypes, celebrating their cultural roots and championing equity with every trick.

For ImillaSkate, skateboarding is more than just a sport–it is an act of resilience, identity, and social inclusion. Today, the collective is taking a historic step by spearheading the creation of the world’s first skatepark and social intervention center built by women—a safe space that will offer workshops, community support, and opportunities to inspire future generations of children and youth.
