Bees have thrived and evolved for millions of years without humans. And yet, in this moment where populations and colonies are collapsing around the world, we as humans don’t have enough understanding of these essential beings in their own wild habitats to know why or what they need.
Jenny Cullinan’s breakthrough research over the last decade has offered practices and insights directly from bees in the wild that can shape a different reality of relationship with bees. As new opportunities emerge for her to research and teach in national parks across South Africa—extending this work across diverse biomes and ecosystems—we are happy to gather support around her visionary work.
