Sustainable Communities Checklist

A "sustainable" community is one that can keep going into the future without using up all its resources--things like clean air and water, but also good housing and leaders who really listen and serve the community. How sustainable is your city? Use the checklist below and take a walk around your neighborhood. Find examples of things on the list like public greenspaces or means of transportation. Post what you find in pictures, videos, and your words below, and then look at how other young people around the world are finding where they are.
