Update: 11 Alessandro reflection Week 3
11 Alessandro reflection Week 3
This week has been very difficult for the company and as well interesting, this week started Sunday with a rescue flight for 47 Italians that we had to take from Potrero to the Alajuela airport. This trip was made legal by contacting different people to be able to take them as the busses are illegal to use at the moment. To take this many Italians we had to use 6 buses, and all of them followed the safety measures that were all the drivers with masks, alcohol in gel, and the constant washing of hands with any contact. For me this was an amazing experience as I saw how far my dad has come, six buses taking Italians to an airport for me is very impressive and this makes the company gain reputation, as not every company can do this. My dad and I really enjoyed it as it was basically my first serious work with his company and he really enjoyed my company for the 8 hours of driving. This as well demonstrates the hard worker my dad is as he decided to drive while he has not done it because he had employees to do it for him but he decided to join during these hard times and do it like he used to do it when the company started. During the transportation of the Italians I speaked and explained different measures they had to take as well as helping with the luggage. In conclusion this was a special week as I got to see the importance of keeping the contacts with the different organizations as they can help with surprise jobs and ways of getting money during this tough times, as well as the place Ecotrans has gotten to, and how proud I am of my family for the hard work they've applied for 20 years.
