What did I do in order to learn the new skill?

Through my CAS project I learned many skills as this made me observe and analyze the MUN i went, also observe how to communicate my ideas to teachers, what I did was throw myself out there and instead of just participating in the MUN I would see what they did right and what I should I do best, the San Jose MUN was analyzed by me and my team, so it also helped me work with my team work skills, since as well communicating with partners has not always been skill I have. I spoke to more teachers to determine what we should’ve apply to our project and ideas to improve so my communication and leadership skills have in my opinion improve.

How will these skills help me in future projects?

In the future all of this skills are some of the best I could have since communication with others is essential to build friends contacts demonstrate confidence, and many more. College and work are places were people take into consideration all this skills make you stand out from others, if seen by colleges or bosses it can be a higher chance of them choosing you.

How did I feel before I took on the new challenge?

I felt scared due to the fact that MUN I always thought it was difficult to organize by myself as well since I couldn’t find any other ideas, but MUN stood out because of what Sam told me, which inspired me to want to do a new MUN but a better one, I felt proud since our MUN was so close to happen and we thought it was going to be a good one, sadly Covid really messed all our work over, and we had to brainstorm new ideas. I felt accomplished when our project had a date set and all the teachers helped us organize our project, now our project has reduced expectations and has brought us back to the beginning and think of how to organize a new project/MUN.

Who helped me develop these skills? How did they help?

Teachers, friends, and clearly myself. Teachers incentivize me to create a better project, Ms. Amy always looking for ways or stuff we can add into our MUN. Mr. Kyle helps us by training the 9 graders, what others need and how can we help them, which issues we can speak about, and taking us to another MUN to understand the dynamics and essentials. Rapha and Emerson are my partners from the MUN team which collaboratively we have work to create the best MUN, or at least that was our expectation.  and Myself I have improved by different skills that have help me understand and develop a more organized and fun MUN for La Paz.
