Engagement with issues or global significance.
MUN is directly connected with a global significance, It replicates the reunion of every country in the world to speak about global issues. With MUN it allows the student to inform itself about what’s happening in the world, while learning different skills to speak to others. It is important to me to have a positive perception of the MUN since I wanted everyone to have fun be interested, learn new skills, and inform themselves about global problems, but viewing them through a countries perspective, my perception was also to do it in school, but it was not possible. I know MUN will endure as each year students like to do MUN for the whole school as it normally is a fun activity were students can also focus on something else that isn’t school. Cultures also come into this project as some of the countries that are represented have different cultures and perspectives of an issue that the student has, so normally the students needs to contradict its perspective or vary it to suit the countries perspective of the issue. My project can be done globally and it’s done globally as different schools in different countries have MUN, for example the virtual one we assisted there were people from various countries of America, Europe, and Asia, which to our understanding MUN’s are also done globally, and come with the benefit of different skills and a fun time.
