12 CAS What Have I Learned

A glimmer of happiness I witnessed was in the weeks leading up to the MUN when we were preparing the countries, committees and other plans. This was a glimmer of happiness for me personally because it was cool to finally being the one to organize it, usually I just participated in it. There was also a glimmer of happiness when my group and I were teaching the then 9th graders how to participate in the MUN and seeing some of them genuinely interested in it. Sadly, I never got to witness the full magnitude of the happiness because COVID happened and our MUN essentially got cancelled. But I did learn a lesson from that. I learned that in life not everything will go according to plan, and it important to always think in the positive; yes our MUN got cancelled, but we can still do another one before we graduate.
