12 Emerson Creativity Entry

In the beginning of my summer vacation I had a work trip with my mom and our other worker in Dominical. The purpose of the trip was to deliver one of our protection dogs to clients who own a surf retreat. During the week we were there, we ran through countless scenarios in order to fully accustom the dog to her new family. The creative part is that we had to think of interesting ways to do the training, such as surprise attacks and clever scenarios that challenged the dog and her new owners. During this week we planned and initiated many activities and scenarios, such as running around with the kids in order to get the dog used to them or walks in the park where the family would get attacked by our guy in the bite suit and the dog would protect them. This relates to the global issue of security because the family who had purchased the dog had previously been broken into, tied up and robbed all at gun point and they needed the protection of one of our dogs in order to maintain security on there properties.
