So, first of all, in order to understand how far we’ve come, it is important to understand what our objective is. Our objective for this trimester was to expand the scope of the project and to establish our own vision onto the project; after all, we have only recently started leading it after our mentors finished their school time with it.
“Now”, you ask: “Did you manage to accomplish this?”
And I can say without a shadow of a doubt that we did.
All the seemingly minor stuff we have done so far: the countless journal entries, the classes, our video, Pre-Cas… all of it were small decorations that add up to one hell of a christmas tree.
We had a pretty intense ride. We had to organise the mangrove event, tend to our nursery, present in CAS night, and deal with all of the stress that comes with a project like this, all on top of the rest of our lives…
If you look back into my first journal entries (Back before Wonderment, when we had to post our entries on Tumblr…), you can see that I had absolutely 0 clue as to what was going on, what my role on the project was and what the future held for me. Back then, I didn’t even know if this project was going to be permanent, or just a side thing until I figured out what my “real” project was. If I could go back i’d smack myself in the face pretty hard, because I was so wrapped up in my own insecurities and doubts that I didn’t focus on the amazing project I was about to leave my paw-prints on…
If I have to leave this entry on a good note, I’d say that what we have so far pales in comparison to what we are planning to do. And although I can’t disclose info just yet, as we are still cooking up everything… I can assure that it will be pretty amazing.
