Process

Something that I was not very good at/sucked at was people skills, and by people skills I mean everything. Small talk; initiating it, keeping it up, just talking, I do not know how to talk with people I am not on great terms with, I just don’t know how to react. I don’t understand if they are hinting at something, I’m not sure if they are being sarcastic/serious, I just don’t understand people very well. I have been practicing this through my CAS experience by talking to other people, I talked to a professional dog trainer at La Paws Dog Show, I talked to a lot of people in Comaco to help me find materials and cost. My plan to keep practicing is to keep talking to people, the only way to make myself understand people better is through interacting with them, and I will have to interact with people so there’s no point in shying away from it.
