A Reflection on my project, me, and relationships.

This journal entry is going to a bit of a mess, going all over the place. I was in an accident last week, and unfortunately ended up with quite a bit of scrapes and a concussion. The concussion put me out of commission for about a week, during which time a lot happened. Through mutual agreement, a long distance relationship was ended and affected me pretty severely, far more than I expected. Due to the nature of concussions, I was unable to really stimulate myself, and essentially spent a whole 4 days alone with my thoughts, something that ended up dragging me down into a self destructive spiral that left me feeling pretty miserable for myself. On top of this, I fell behind in a lot of classwork, due to my inability to focus. Additionally, the website that I designed and put a ton of time into for CEPIA is being replaced, which I still don’t know how I feel about. On one hand, I feel like my work wasn’t appreciated and is being cast aside. However, I also want CEPIA to succeed and am fully capable of admitting that a website designed by a professional with experience with HTML and coding a website will be far superior to a website limited by WordPress, which is all I am capable of. Simply put, I’ve had a pretty terrible week. The one positive is that I’ve submitted all of my college applications! With regards to my Artificery project, I’ve come across a couple of new resources on YouTube that outline how to set up a shop for under 1K, which I might draw influence from. I’m currently planning my CAS night presentation, and have a rough outline of what I want to talk about with regards to both projects, but need to finish that this week.
