Activity Break Journal Entry

As of activity, I will also reflect on one of my passions that was an important part of my break. I enjoy biking on a daily basis and usually do it every afternoon. I usually do different routs of 9-10 kilometers, however, I wanted to try a different one that it ought about, although I wasn’t sure how long it would be. The first day I decided to track the distance to see if it was similar to my usual routes and I discovered that it was actually longer, being around 12.7 km. I really enjoyed this so I decided to keep this new route and do it every day. I also wanted to see if I improved my time of 3:22 minutes per kilometer that I did the first time and the average 17.8 kilometers per hour speed. I haven’t really been measuring this but I probably did improve it as I feel that I take less time now. This is an effective way of keeping a routine on break when I don’t have much to do, and also a way to leave my house without needing to use a mask. It was also a way to stay active every day, although it was a challenge some days that it started raining while I was biking or a the time I had a small accident and had to pause for a couple of days to rest my injured foot.
