Amanda- Journal Entry April 18th 2020

This day I wanted to bake something, so I baked some brownies. I wish I had done them out of scratch but I ended up doing them from a box that sells the pre-mixture. I am proud I was able to bake the brownies completely by myself without the help of my mom. I made sure I pre-heated the oven and mixed the elements correctly. I made sure I was paying attention to the batch inside the oven since I didn't want it to overheat, making it burn the brownies. Now and then I would check with a fork to see if the brownies were ready and when the fork came out clean I knew they were ready. I was very happy with the result since my little baking experiment came outright. Instead of adding water I added milk and added some salted caramel to it. It turned out amazing and it made me learn that I should take more risks more often.
