Amanda- Journal Entry February 9th

My classmates; Nicolle, Cindy and I decided to do a fundraiser together. Meanwhile, Cindy and I have the project of traveling to Perú, Nicolle has the Cuidemonos project. This fundraiser was going to be as unique as it can be since we planned to sell three products. A Candy Gram with candy for 500 colones, a Candy Gram with a heart-shaped balloon for 1,000 colones and a real rose with a small valentine cookie for 2,000 colones which has never been done before. However, with all of this excitement also came disagreements. We struggle to figure out how the profits were going to be distributed since it was 3 people working on it but 2 projects. The three of us used our communicative skills and maturely talked it out. We ended up splitting the profits into 3 portions which was my original argument of the discussion. That day I decided to go to the store in Huacas where they sell materials for crafts. I bought cellophane paper and the ribbon with which we were going to tie the bags. I did this with my own money and took a picture of the bill so the team could pay me back once we were together.
