Amanda- Journal Entry March 6th 2020

This day we had a game against the catholic high school in Huacas. I was prepared to give my best in the field since I heard some of my teammates say they felt sick. Howevers, that was going to be more challenging than I thought since there were a lot of people watching. Both the male soccer team from the rival and team and the La Paz one were present. This was due to the game that was going to happen after the female one. I didn't feel pressured but the stares made me anxious and I started feeling that my soccer skills were rusty since I haven't played in a long time. We ended up losing that game but it only made me learn that if I want the ones around me to give my best then I should start giving my best.
