Amanda- Journal Entry March 6th 2020

For some time I have been talking to Mr. René through the number that my mother’s cousin gave me. After the lady in charge of the tours in the Q’ero nation wrote via email that she charges around $600 I started looking for other options. After contacting Mr: René he tried calling me so we could talk formally but our schedules didn't match and so we kept trying to call each other for some days. Then on Friday night he called me and told me to write everything he says down since he went to the Huilloc community and asked for their prices. He explained how the entire itinerary would look like including the exact activities and their prices and they consisted of. We talked for over an hour; mainly consisting of him explaining the activities and me asking questions. Overall he was very nice. He said that he won't charge for him being the tour guide and will do us a discount for transportation he will provide us. He also offered to give some explanations of the itinerary to the 11th grade when we give them a formal proposal which is my original plan and I hope to go through with it someday when we go back to classroom classes.
