Amanda- Remote Learning Human Resource Project Reflection week 3 May 14th 2020

This week I learned that motivation is what leads to innovation. Frederick Herzberg’s two factors theory of motivations tells us that in order for the employees to feel motivated to do their job better the company must satisfy their hygiene factors place. Although this theory states the obvious that in order for employees to feel motivated they need a clean space to work and job security in between other needs. However, this theory organized the needs in a hierarchy that allows the human resource manager to know what aspects are needed in order to climb to the top of the pyramid to the motivational factors. It was thanks to Herzberg’s theory that I was able to comprehend motivation in between not only employees but also students. With this information I was able to figure out what the students need first in order to feel motivated to do the activity that I am setting up for them. I was able to talk with Mr. Kevin on Wednesday and he told me y idea of the virtual lab was great and it has a lot to do with what they are looking at right now. We set a date for the activity which will be in 2 weeks from now but it got moved to 3 weeks from now because of the national baccalaureate exams. The next steps for me are creating a lesson plan for 10th grader with the help of the link Mr.Kevin sent me that explains how to do engaging lesson plans.
