Starting school with many ideas on my mind, "The board room" and my cas project are brainstorming the idea of an event. The event consists of an art and skating day where you come in and paint your own skateboard and then learn to skate. The idea of creating a space where kids can come customize their own skateboards and later use them teaches the kids how to set up their own skateboard and learn to skate. The Board room is planning on donating a couple of skateboards so I can put them in good form and give them away to the kids in the community that enjoy this sport and don't have the materials. This event will include all the covid-19 protocols and will have safety equipment for kids to stay safe when learning to skateboard. The IB profile that I'm using to plan this event is open-minded and communicators because I'm listening to all the ideas my team has and applying them into the event, communication is key when it comes to this project and event because we have to get informed and inform about the future of the event.
