Knowing that high school, and along with that CAS is coming to an end, is both exhilarating and scary. It’s exhilarating because I’m almost finished with school, it’s scary because I’m almost finished with school and am entering a new phase of my life that I feel I am not ready for. I also feel like I haven’t done enough and that I could have done more, but no point crying over spilt milk.
If I am remembered here in school, it will either be due to my brief 5 minutes of fame, due to being from a not so well known country, and my name being very similar to dab. I might be remembered for my great baking skills and selling at the Feria, or I might be remembered for my CAS project, since if I do get permission from Mr. Berkowitz, it will be a physical addition to the school, that everybody can use.
There are training parks like these all over the world, but for some reason, even though Guanacaste has the most dogs I have ever seen, the only training park for dogs I saw is a private one. I think it is important that all people have the opportunity to train their dogs, which is why I chose to do this project.
