Biking and update on the project

This weekend I went biking with my mom through trails in Hacienda Pinilla. I hadn't been biking in so long because I had stopped for years and was only surfing and doing other workouts. I want to start biking again, especially since it's not muddy anymore as summer is kicking in. Along with biking, I want to start paddle boarding more often because it's a good exercise in the ocean for when there are no waves. In the next 2 weeks I also have to train super hard because I will be doing a race on the 16th of November. My dad and I used to do that race when I was little and we won the family race once and he won his category many times too. This year we decided to do it again so we have to train! Although summer has good winds for surfing, sometimes it lacks swell so I am already preparing for when those flat days come. But when there is swell during summer, it can be the best sessions ever with incredible conditions and waves, so I am excited for that part too. On the other hand regarding my project, I had created a Gantt chart for creating my informational signs but unfortunately, I will have to edit the dates. I didn't take into consideration the amount of IA's and in general the school work that I've had this trimester which has kept me extremely busy. I've been staying up until 11pm or 1am every day doing homework and working on IB assignments such as IAs, and I have to get up early at 6 to go to school, or at 5 if I want to surf before school. I know that sleeping is important but there's no possible way that I can sleep more with the amount of things I have to do so for now I am taking CAS a bit slower. This is better because I can assure my work for these signs will be good quality, rather than super rushed just to get it done. I know I will get the signs done over break for sure, and I'll have more free time in vacation to contact the companies to make the signs and make sure that they will turn out great. Felipe and I started working on the text for the signs this week in class, which shows how crazy busy we've been but we will do our best to find balance and create beautiful informational signs! I also worked on the Do and Sustainability phases of the project on the site in order to help me brainstorm what I should include on the signs.
