Theme: Knowledge

Object: Extraction of culture, between countries and people

Prompt: How do our interactions with the material world shape our knowledge?

The studies of objects primarily of culture allow us to identify, understand and appreciate other people because of the complexity that can be obtained when interacting with people from other countries and knowing how to appreciate knowledge about them and about where they come from. Besides that, material culture gives us an idea of non-material culture, which includes ideas, beliefs, habits, and values of a people. In the material world everything matters in the way there is a physical part, nature, and life in general.

Within my project, there are sources that we mainly want to highlight where we can connect and contact people from abroad, in which we are not used to it. This is achieved by having students who have carried out this project have had the opportunity to contact people who will serve as a guide to achieve the objective. The main goal of this project is to get a close and good relationship between the people of Boston, which is made to create a responsibility to carry out the same project that has been for around three years. What does this mean, that the material world gives other people the possibilities to face and understand reference points to appreciate the knowledge of information extraction and perceptions given by different points towards the disposition of people. Personally Steph and I are trying to recreate this project. The purpose of learning about the material world where our knowledge and interactions can play a role where we are willing to go to the United States is through the connections that have been made over several years with a school in Brookline. In addition to simply going, we will  have the opportunity to get to know the city, its people and, overall get  a little insight about the city.
