Created a TEST video on a free online editing website I found called, “WeVideo

How did I motivate myself to work on my project last week? Did it work? If not, what can I do in the upcoming week to get more done?

I didn’t really need to motivate myself to work on my project because I was already really into it and having so much fun working on it that I actually needed to remind myself I have other work in other classes that I need to work on.

What did I do well when planning my project? What could I have done differently?

I found multiple softwares and free application for editing videos that are highly recommended from multiple articles and YouTube videos, and made my own test video to try out each one to see which one worked best for me. I later found out that chromebooks are not compatible with lots of high quality software and just today (24th) I figured that I can use my dad’s computer for the editing instead of mine.

I think that I did pretty well on accomplishing my weekly goals for this project but if there was two things I could have done better is made my test video quicker and should have thought of using my dad’s computer earlier.

How have I initiated communication with my mentor or others involved in the process? What worked well? What didn’t work well? What did I learn from these interactions?

I haven’t gotten to this stage yet but I have conversed with my parents about finding one but other than that I need to work more on this step before I can continue with the project. My plan for doing this is over the weekend finding time to send emails, converse with adults and create some potential questions to ask my mentor.
