CREATIVTY

This break was our BOSTON trip!!! It was amazing and I am so proud of all the hard work Ashley and I put into it. However, I will be talking more about the trip in my service entry. Whereas for Creativity consisted in thinking about my future projects in art class since my exhibition is not that far away. For my future art projects, I want to continue to use soccer as an inspiration not just as something I love to do, but also see it as pure art because that is what it really is. So I thought about how to mix both of these passions into a piece. I love the idea to continue through the abstract branch and play with color more. However, I don’t necessarily love the non objective art a whole lot. For some future ideas of projects, I have thought about making a collage, with photos of my favorite soccer players but make it into a soccer ball or a kleat. My next idea is to do that but with the girls soccer team and shape them like a Guanacaste tree. Some other ideas I had were to draw Paola as a role model and someone I aspire to be like. Nonetheless, I don't want all my exhibition to be soccer, I also want to focus on how soccer helps you develop a better self esteem and confidence. Can do a big piece in which I draw different soccer positions and make them all a different color. So I want to do some projects on self esteem and maybe work with women human figure. For self esteem I could focus on body image and self worth. For self worth I could do a model of two hands and a soccer ball inside the hands or just keep the idea of a heart. For body image I can do a painting of the different types of body women have and make it abstract. Furthermore, I would like to continue to think about all these ideas and maybe continue using symbolism in some of my pieces and what the symbols represent to me.
