Executive summary_ Grace and Cata

Terraza Youth center is located in a small town in Costa Rica where alcohol and drugs play a large role in teenagers’ life due to the lack of education, security, and activities for teenagers to do. Upon this organization, we intend to give teenagers a secure space where they can develop as successful individuals without having to deal with the problems of Tamarindo. Our mission is to have fun, dream big, love people, and do the hard things. We want to inspire people to do more and be more. To achieve that we plan weekly events for the teenagers of the Guanacaste Coastal Area, giving them things to do and a place to belong. Terraza is located in the center of the Tamarindo next to the skatepark. For our project to be successful, we depend on donations to pay the rent which is $24,000 a year. We haven’t received the support we expected from our community, therefore we have to organize a lot of events and they never generate sufficient revenue because we must price them to be accessible to all socioeconomic levels that are present in the zone. Therefore, we are asking for your support, we encourage you to donate to our project because you would be investing in future leaders. We want to be able to give teenagers the best we can to be able to succeed in life. With your help, we can continue to empower those in the community that currently don’t have a voice.
