First meeting of 2026

January 6:

Tomorrow we are meeting again to discuss our next steps.

In the last couple of meetings, it has really helped to have an activity that is related to the work that we are going to do to start off. I think that I am going to teach SWOT analysis.

Internal - Strengths and Weaknesses

• Focus on what we have to offer and ideas about what we will struggle with in the upcoming month to plan our activities in Las Catalinas. Identify both the Strengths and Weaknesses and how we will use the strengths and overcome the weaknesses.

External - Opportunities and Threats

• Here we will need to do some research and we will fill out this document to identify some opportunities and threats using our research skills.  Then complete the analysis of how to use the opportunities and overcome the threats.

We will fill out the document and then we will post on our wonderment page.

After we have created an analysis of our group at this time, we will work on planning and marketing the event.

We will need a date.

We will need a location.

We will need the type of activity that we are hosting.

We will need a list of items that we need to buy and a budget.

We will need to figure out how to market and talk to the other families in Las Catalinas to create awareness and excitement about our event.

We will need to assign jobs for each of us to do in order to make this a success.

We can start talking about marketing.

We will also fill out our ideas about these elements.
