Flamingo basketball Club Log 3 T2

This week for my project I was challenged to come up with a drill that I could use for both My basketball team and a Senior at our school named Luca Marin. I decided to make my drill a finishing/Layup drill so that all ages could execute. The drill was that I would stand in the paint (under the basket) and try and stop the attacker from scoring. The point of the drill is to represent a game like decision and have the attacker make quick and smart decisions based on how I play as a defender. It took My team a little to get the hang of the drill but as expected from Luca he scored on me pretty much first try. Even though it might have been an easier drill for some I feel that it is a good drill for all ages because I can adjust how I play as a defender so that the attacker can get the most out of the drill.
