May 24th, 2020,
Over the course of this week I worked to improve my focus by meditating and exercising.
May 18th: I did Miss Amy Snodgrass’ 8 minutes to calm mediation. I was not very focused. My mind was all over the place and racing to finish the mediation to write down that I did it. But even though I wasn’t super, it was peaceful.
May 19th: I did the same meditation again and was able to discontent faster this time. I was basically asleep when it was over.
May 20th: Today I went to tap class, I decided to not wear my watch to totally focus on the class and not be distracted by the time, it was really fun.
May 21st:Today I meditated again. I did a longer 10-minute meditation and it was really great. I was able to shut off my mind and focus on it almost completely.
May 22nd: I went on a run today. And was able to focus pretty well while I did homework after.
May 23rd: I ran again today in the morning. I didn’t do homework today so I’m not sure if it improved my focus.
May 24: I meditated for 10 minutes before starting homework today and it has helped me clear my brain and focus on finishing this business assignment.
I’m not sure if these exercises really did anything to improve my focus but they were a good addition to my day.
