Gantt Chart
A Gantt Chart is a graphical representation used in project management that will show the length of time a task in a project should take. A way to monitor timelines of tasks. This tool applies to my CAS experience because it is a way to keep track of all the tasks needed to be completed, such as meeting with Gaby, advertising, and practices. It will allow my team and I to assign individual tasks to each other and make sure no one is slacking. Additionally, Gaby, other mentors, and teachers will be able to view our progress. It is a great opportunity to use the IB learner profile trait “Organization” as we move forward in our project. The only downside is that a Gantt Chart takes up a lot of time to edit and update. This could lead to not updating as often as we should or not sharing and including all the tasks needed to be completed with others such as Gaby, our mentors, and Miss Amy.
