Update: Helping the Hydroponic Garden
Helping the Hydroponic Garden
In today's CAS block, I decided to once again help a classmate on his project. I helped my former CAS partner Daniel with his new project consisting of a hydroponic garden on school campus. He needed help as he was preparing the water pumps to start planting and he needed to do it as quick as possible. Firstly I helped him clean out the water tank while he prepared the electrical installations. Once the tank was clean, I helped him start the water pumping and use one plant as a trial to see how it would work. While we waited for the tank to fill with water, we spoke with the MUN group to get to know the details of their event. Once again, I experienced the importance of working collaboratively and helping others, just like other people helped me during the preliminary aspects of my project. This has helped me experience what other people in the class is doing in CAS and experience the work needed in them, to get a new perspective of how beneficial CAS is to gain experience on work ethics and responsibility to continue a project and maintain it. It is also a way to spend the CAS block productively, in these weeks where I don't have much to do for my personal project.
