House Journal Entry

What is something you’ve been putting off doing that you now suddenly have time for?

For me it was spending quality time with my friends and family. I had gotten so caught up with life that I had forgotten how important it is to invest time in your loved ones. Even though we cant go anywhere, I have had a great time with my family. And I have mended relationships whether it was talking on the phone, or playing video games.

What shows/movies have been helping you cope during this time?

For me I havent watched much movies or shows I still have been playing basketball and it helps the time pass, but I have also began playing video games again; for many they see that as a negative, but I had forgotten how much fun it was too just sit down and play a game with friends it grounds me and allows me to remain social in these times.

What is one small thing you are doing to bring a little joy or comfort into your day?

Eating healthy, is what has allowed me to stay comfortable and feel like I am just wasting my youth. I can see a difference in my body and energy.

How do you stay focused when studying from home?

What is the most hilarious thing you’ve seen that distracted you from studying? Tell me about it or link it here. Why was it funny to you?

If you had a mantra right now, what would it be? Why?

Stay focused. Even though there isn’t many resources to continue working hard, I am still blessed and able  play basketball and keep my grades up and when everything goes back to normal I would have not missed a beat.

Who do you see most now?

I see my dad a lot and that makes me extremely happy, because of the worlds situation he was able to come visit and stay a few weeks. I don’t get too see him much, and the time I spend with him is special and I have been able to have it.

What is the most annoying thing about that person?

He makes me wash the dishes no matter what and sometimes with my mom she would let it slide

What do you love about being stuck with that person/people?

I don’t get to see my dad much, and Ive been training with him still going on runs and doing stairs. He pushed me to be the best person I can be.
