HR Project 6 Reflection (Rewards) _ Grace Herman

June 4th, 2020 Since my last reflection, I have given my 2nd class and I have furthered my project preparing for the next couple of weeks. Only one of the students could make it to the class, the other was in a meeting with a teacher. But it was cool. The one girl shared her work for last week out loud and it made me smile. 6th graders are so creative and optimistic and I needed that last week. That reminder of innocent optimism and creativity is one of the ways I am rewarded by with project. I am also rewarded by "job enrichment" this task is a challenge, I've never planned an activity with this level of attention and care and it's rewarding. I also am rewarded by empowerment since I have autonomy over this project and with purpose since it lends a purpose to the business content I am learning. On the other side, I am rewarded by a good grade in this class, which will go on my transcript, and help me get into college. At the beginning of this project, I was a little skeptical, a little confused but it's really won me over and now business is the class where I am the most motivated it and the class I feel the most rewarded in.
