Journal Entry November 15th
1. Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences: Over the past few months of our donation contest we have shown commitment to understand necessities that many families in Brasilito have, we made many families of our school community to be aware that they should be sustainable at home, and show a proactive lifestyle and use what they only need.
Families of Brasilito have shown us to be persevere and follow our dreams, because we believe and think that many of these families need more items than us.
Through the little kids of the town we have shown our commitment, because when we go to give out donations they run to us with a smile on their face and its so heart melting and sweet.
We sold empanadas last Thursday to buy the paper bags so we can place clothes in the bag and give it out.
Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process:
Steph and I are on the process of taking into action the handing out the donation items.
Challenges are that we want to donate more items for christmas. And one of our classmate Hailey is donating all of the gifts for us and the 25th of December we are giving them to the little kids of brasilito.
We have become more strategic, risk taker, balance and inquires, because we have taken a huge responsibility to promote a new ideal for Brasilito and show them that they still have an opportunity to succeed and believe they have a new space to show a new ability in themselves.
