La Paz Exchange

As we are finalizing plans for the La Paz trip I have continued to be a part of the planning and will be going to the airport to pick the students up. We have planned for all 8 students as well as two teachers to come on the trip. They will all stay in the Newman dorms and they can also eat there.

The dorms are almost directly next to both the school and Newbury street which I think will be really fun for the Costa Rican students. We are going to have them come into school for a few days and be partnered up with Newman students to shadow throughout the days. We are going to have a joint business class and discuss one of the IB tests. Also, they have set up interviews with a few local businesses and have planned projects around that.

I have used my communication skills as well as will continue to act as a bridge between the two schools.
