Update: Last Journal Entry of 11th Grade
Last Journal Entry of 11th Grade
COVID, this I think was the clearest challenge that everyone was faced with, and finding a way to overcome this luck came easier than I thought. I was able to move my project online but it took away from what I wanted to create in my project. The human connection was lost. My greatest success this year would either have to be the Wharton Global Youth Program or in the second trimester when I had consistent math help. The Whatton Global Youth Program was super exciting to me and I think I was able to entice one or two students and create a successful run. The math help in the second trimester was great, I had one student come every week and was able to see the results and help I provided within his final IB math mocks and it was a rewarding feeling to understand how I helped. This year I was able to persevere through challenges and stay motivated throughout the trimester from people that would come to my math help class. But overall Miss Amy was a great support this year, her passion for my project allowed me to understand the value that is created. Motivating me to have a successful project. Next year I will prepare to have a great CAS project by working on my project and creating a great plan across the summer, planning for the Wharton Youth Program and Student Government. Entering the trimester prepared me to have a successful end to my project.
