Which quote resonates with your reasoning for choosing your CAS project? Explain

• “I always wondered why somebody didn’t do something about that. Then I realized, I am somebody.” The Feria was shut down because of Covid almost 2 full years ago, and it only was started up again this trimester. Why? Because first of all, no one thought it was possible, and second of all no one wanted to try. It took so long for a group to come together to get this started again, and I realized that I could be that person!

Which quote resonates with you now that you have undertaken some aspects of your CAS project? Explain

• “You gave me your time, the most important gift of all.” This quote resonated with me after undertaking some of the aspects of my project, because during this trimester I was always worried about time. There are things that have to be done at a certain time, especially with marketing in order for the project to be successful, but I was always constantly busy with other school work that stressed me out when I had to communicate and post about the feria constantly. I learned how to manage that, and I learned that marketing needs to be done consistently in order for good results to occur, this is something I am still working on as well.

How do you feel about the class at this moment? Explain

• At this moment I feel great about CAS class, I am super happy with where my project has gone, and how much my hard work has paid off. I hope that next trimester I can continue with the Feria, and hopefully watch it evolve and grow even more. I realize that now the Feria is all set up and flowing smoothly there may not be a ton more I can do to really move it forward, of course, I could work on improving and finding new ways to change it, but it may even be time for a new project?

Do the quotes inspire you to do things differently? Why or why not?

• Most of the time quotes do not inspire me, sometimes they do, but a lot of the time they are just words to me. If the quote hits a specific idea that speaks to me then sometimes it will make me think, or wonder, or contemplate. Quotes will only inspire me to do things differently if they feel unforced, if they seem unnaturally inspirational I will not listen.
