March 8: Gratitude Journal Entry

There have been many different people within my project who have helped me to get to where I am today and I would not have been able to do it without any of them. These are people like Rachael (my mentor), Erika (the teacher I work with the most), and EJ and Kati (the volunteers I work with when I come on Wednesdays). Rachael is the one who helped me to get started with my project. If there is ever any time where I need help or advice with my project, I know that I can always go to her for help. Erika is super helpful in providing me with feedback that helps me grow and improve. She is also very fun to be around and provides a good example for me to follow. EJ and Kati are always there to help me, and I help them whenever they need it with Spanish. This means that we work well together and I always enjoy hearing their stories. One of the things I’m most proud about achieving is building strong connections with the kids at Abriendo Mentes. They treat me like I’m their friend and that means a lot to me. All of the help that I’ve received has helped me get to this point and I’m so grateful for it. Note: I don't have the contact info for Erika, EJ, or Kati so I'm going to tell them in person.
