My summer activity

Over the summer we had to move houses which meant a lot of packing and going forth and back. While unpacking at our new house I realized our new pool had some animals in it. I saved two frogs and a lizard the first day I stayed at the house. It has now been around a week and I have saved 2 tarantulas, a couple more frogs and have been checking every morning for more. It has become a new hobby of mine since there are now hundreds of tadpoles in the pool eating the algae since the pool is very green. It's not quite a pool yet technically because the water is purely rain water, but it has now become a mini ecosystem and I have been observing it for a while. This slightly connects to the first Learning Outcome because science and marine biology are another huge interest of mine. I love learning about reptiles and amphibians so it is nice to take a break from sewing to check on the tadpoles every once in a while. I am using the inquirer learner profile because I absolutely love learning about these animals, especially frogs and I get to see it all happen in person which is really interesting.

Wow! A mini ecosystem in your backyard. Miss Kelsey is going to be very interested in this. That is one positive of the new house!
