This week I haven't had much time to work on my new project. However, I did announce it in this week’s morning meeting. What I need to know is how many people have downloaded the app. This is important to track because we need to be able to know how many people are receiving this information. With this, we could change our way of marketing or keep it and make it better. From what I could tell, not many people have the app, which makes me sad. But with Rochelle, we are looking for a way to attract more people specifically, the students. If we get most if not all the students to download the app, it is easier to get to the parents, from there have the whole community download the app.
During quarantine time it is hard to interact with people. However, I came up with an idea that could help us attract people’s attention. I was thinking that we could raffle. Instead of buying a ticket, people will have to download the app and share a screenshot with Rochelle or my person. After a week, we would do a live show and announce the winner. We are not sure of what the prize would be but it could be a gift card from a local business, or a dessert made by us. To be honest, this is a great idea, I would definitely want to participate in something like this. I would be helping in a CAS project and winning something at the same time. I really hope people will get as excited as I am.
The next steps to take would be to find the prize. We are asking local businesses to see which one would like to donate a prize. We are currently waiting for a response. Once we have a prize we will announce the raffle. I really hope this works because we really need more people from our community to download the app.
