NEW PROJECT

For me, this pandemic has been a nightmare. It had ruined all of my plans for this 2020. One of my biggest plans was my CAS project, Cuidemonos. This was going to be a huge event. Many people were very interested in helping and supporting this project. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks before the event, quarantine started and it was forbidden to do any type of event. Even today, 5 months later, it is still forbidden. Due to this reason, I had the obligation to suspend the event until the government says we can do big events. However, this does not mean I am done. I am currently participating in a health project with the founder of the coffee brand Britt and many other IB students around Costa Rica. The goal of this project is to make people download the app EDUS in order to help the government have more control over the virus. To be honest, I am very happy to be part of this project. I am still helping people in the health area, which is what I wanted from the beginning. Rochelle and I are working together to get the message out about the app to our community. We are publishing challenges and information about the app in order to make people aware of the app. I am very excited to help the government and prevent more people to get infected by this virus.
