November 1: Día de las Mascaradas

On November 1st, we had the Día de las Mascaradas event that was planned by Students Sponsoring Students. I feel like it went really well! While we were planning the event, it was quite stressful (I can't even imagine how it was for Cata and Stacy) because there were a lot of different aspects that had to be planned in detail in order for the event to be successful. I was on the group that was in charge of decorations, which meant that we communicated with people who were helping us and also to create decorations. Afterward, I helped to set up the decorations and the Casa de Leyendas along with my classmates. I learned that planning an event like this can be really challenging but in the end it's definitely worth it. Learning Outcomes: -Work collaboratively with others -Plan and initiate an activity -Challenges were undertaken showing that new skills are learned.
