During this quarantine, I was able to do some really interesting things to help my community. One thing I did was I sowed masks for healthcare workers. It was both fun and rewarding helping the people who help us stay healthy during this tough time. I also was very active in NCL, which is the National Charity League. Through that, I was able to not only make masks but send videos to our troops in America and help volunteer at an outdoor garage sale to benefit a dog rescue I worked with a lot in the USA called Rough Dog Rescue. Being able to help my community gave me a sense of purpose during quarantine that made the lockdown a little more bearable.
