Yesterday the team got together right after school. The first thing that we did was to try the dog biscuits out on Nate's dogs. They loved the treats. They were so gentle but eat all of the bones. That was our first taste test.
Nate then got started on making another 100 dog biscuits. While he was doing that, Eitan was working on the spreadsheet for the cost of the dog treats and finalizing pricing. I have copied the link here for people to see the work. We settled on 5 dog treats per bag and the price will be 1 mil colones. We are going to make a good margin on the treats and will use it for future events.
Then Oliver was working on the awards for the raffle. They are as follows:
Nate made a poster with the different prizes that will be available and Oliver made the raffle tickets. He will bring his bingo roller so that we can draw names at the end of the event.
We also talked about Pawsitive compliment drawings. Some ideas for that are
So they are going to make the small cards for this on Friday.
There are still things to do and Allyson, Nate's mom is going to help them with the list that they have on Friday night.
The list includes: finalize the dog biscuits with the honey drizzle, make the pawsitive compliment awards, cut the raffle tickets, package the dog treats, think about what Eitan will say at the beginning of the event.
That is where we are today! Looking forward to the actual event on Saturday.
