Last night we had a paint night at Terraza. This was an idea from Sarah Trimarchi in effort to make paintings to decorate a bland room at CEPIA. She sent the text above to a group chat I made of girls that come to Terraza events and we decided to make it into an event. This was a huge step forward for Terraza. A student who wanted to use Terraza to help the community, that’s service right there. She was super excited and helped market and set it up. We got a couple girls there, talked ate some food, had a great time and overall made art. We talked to the girls about their fears coming into highschool and drama that was going on in there class/ life and this is what I want as a part of Terraza. I want to have a group of girls that trust me and know they can come to me if they need me inside or outside of school. I want to be a welcome person and Terraza to be a welcoming place and both me a Cata are fairly welcoming people and I believe we can do this. Little events like this paint night are helping make those connections and creating the community we want Terraza to be and this one had a great cause.
