What are the goals of your project?

My goal is to do a dance party 80s-90s themed at the school for La Paz students.

I want to do separate ones for two different age groups, 7th-9th, 10th-12th (if possible include the 12 graders). This dance party will create a happy environment for students to socialize and have fun together. The money earned from this event will be donated to the associations in Costa Rica that help the environment.

What are the milestones that you will need to meet to obtain those goals?

• I will have the email for permission sent by today
• Next week: I will start raising money, and market my project, I will send emails to chaperones, and plan possible dates for the event
• In two weeks I will try to have a confirmed date as well as the chaperones, and all the info out to all the students.

How will you know that you have succeeded?

When the event occurs, many students attend it, and have fun. Also that a good amount of money is earned for the cause.

What is needed this week to get you started? (marketing, meetings, emails, other communication, etc.) emails, meetings, marketing, earning money for the food and drinks, as well as decoration, and possible prizes. I will need to get a list of music that will last long enough. I need to contact adults that want to be chaperones.
