Practice _ Grace Herman

March 16th, 2020 Over the course of this trimester, I've been having weekly practices with the three girls' pictures. Through this time we have picked a short script to act out called "10,000 Cigarettes" and we have started to block it. This project started off slowly. I was distracted at the beginning of the trimester with other projects and other school work and let this project slip to the bottom of my list. Towards the middle of the trimester we started to gain momentum again and consistency. However, we were planning on performing at Night of the Art (NOA) this trimester and I was not aware that there isn't NOA during the second trimester. Our second plan was to before at Tenorio's Tarde de las Artes but due to the currently COVID 19 outbreak that has been canceled and so has our practices. Since the trimester has been prematurely cut off I have so new ideas to keep this project going in the upcoming trimester. I think we should video the performance of the script and edit together a cool video of the performance. After that, if the girls are still interested in the project we should start another script and perform at NOA during the third trimester, which is happening in the third trimester. In sum, this project has been slow to start and has faced some unexpected challenges but I have a game plan and am motivated to continue it and adapt it as we come into the next trimester.
