These last few weeks we have been working on initiating our plans for our next stage in our CAS project.
One of our first projects is to create the competition solos for the junior dancers at our studio. We started off with an audition process to select the soloists each of us will be working with. For the span of the next four months we will be working with the dancers to prepare them for competition.
Our second project is working with CEPIA, a non profit organization, to provide the opportunity to underprivileged kids to dance. At the end of the six weeks we will put on a performance for the kids at CEPIA and pick a few dedicated dancers to earn scholarships to continue dancing at our studio.
Our final project is to communicate with La Paz and their administration to discuss the possibility of constructing a stage. If our plan gets approved we will find the necessary funding and look for donors to help us build the stage for our community.
How have you grown and changed through the process of your project?
I have learned how to be a good communicator and principled to be able to move forward with our project and hopefully be able to get the financial help needed for us to build a stage.
