“Providing the tools for shredding without restraints.”

The new mission statement “providing the tools for shredding without restraints,” belonging to the Board Room summarizes the main objective of this project. These upcoming weeks will be the most important weeks so far in my CAS experience because it will be the grand opening of the shop. A lot of time will need to go into it, and feedback as well. How business goes in this first month will tell me a lot about how it will go in the future, and what changes will need to happen to make it successful. For example, if the main objective needs to be finding more boards to rent because of too many customers, or if it needs to be better marketing because of the lack of customers. All these factors will be put to the test and I’m excited to see how it goes.

Although all of this is exciting, it makes me a little nervous as well. When starting up a business it’s never easy and there’s a good chance it’s not going to go as well as I planned.
