Quotes Journal Entry

The first quote resonates with my project because as a group we are protecting what we love, dance, by bringing performance art back to our community and impacting the students we teach and the audience viewing our dances, which is like asking what they would protect. The second quote "No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of another." Charles Dickens resonates with me in this point of our CAS project because when I work in a team or collaboration it feels really good to help others with their work and work though everything together. How do you feel about the class at this moment? At this moment I feel like most of our work has been done and I am excited because the next step is performing all of our dances. For that I am both nervous and excited because in this next practice I really need to work with the participants in my dance to clean it and make it ready to be performed. Do the quotes inspire you to do things differently? Why or why not? In general I already feel very inspired about my project because it pertains to something I love, but they do remind me to keep making a difference in my community, and with my teammates.
